AI check · Free & non-binding

A free AI compliance check for your website.

Since 2 August 2026 the transparency obligations of the EU AI Act apply: chatbots must disclose that they are AI, and AI-generated content must be labelled. We review your website and you receive a written assessment with priorities within two working days. Free of charge, with no obligation.

Five areas, one clear result.

We review the points that actually matter for websites right now: the new AI obligations plus the classics of data protection, performance and accessibility.

01

Chatbot disclosure (Art. 50 EU AI Act)

Does your chatbot identify itself as AI? This transparency obligation has been applicable since 2 August 2026. We check whether and where your website needs to catch up.

02

Labelling of AI-generated content

Do you use AI-generated images, videos or audio? We check whether machine-readable labelling is required and how it can be implemented cleanly from a technical point of view.

03

The GDPR surface of your AI features

Commissioned data processing (DPA), the hosting location of the AI services, and the question of whether your privacy policy mentions the AI features at all.

04

Performance (Core Web Vitals)

A quick pass over loading time, interactivity and layout stability, because Google factors these values into its ranking.

05

Accessibility (BaFG / WCAG)

A short review against WCAG criteria: contrast, keyboard operation, alternative texts. Also relevant with a view to the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG).

How it works: three steps.

Within two working days we send you a short written assessment with clear priorities. Free of charge and with no obligation.

Why now? The deadlines are real.

The transparency obligations under Art. 50 of the EU AI Act have been applicable since 2 August 2026. For existing systems, the transition period for the machine-readable labelling of AI content ends on 2 December 2026. And the AI literacy obligation (Art. 4) has already applied since February 2025, in other words for a year and a half.

For context, without dramatising: violations of Art. 50 can be sanctioned with up to 15 million euros or 3% of annual turnover, with the lower amount applying to SMEs, and the authorities are bound by the principle of proportionality. Austria has not yet designated its market surveillance authority, but the obligations apply directly under EU law.

So panic is unwarranted. But every week without labelling is documented non-implementation of an obligation that is in force. For most websites the effort is small, and now, before the transition period ends, it is at its smallest. That effort is exactly what we take off your hands.

An honest note: the AI check is a technical and content assessment from a developer's perspective, not legal advice. For binding legal questions we recommend a law firm specialising in IT law. What we deliver is the implementation: from chatbot disclosure to a fast, accessible website, as with shariatechai.com or amourinfini.at.
