Initial consultation
We listen: goals, constraints, existing systems, timelines. You speak directly with the developer, not with a sales team.
Deliverable: An honest first assessment and a clear recommendation on how to proceed.
Large projects rarely fail because of technology. They fail because of unclear expectations. That is why we work in eight phases with one clear deliverable per phase: at any point you know what is finished, what comes next and what you are asked to sign off.
Each phase ends with a tangible result that you review and approve. Only then do we move on.
We listen: goals, constraints, existing systems, timelines. You speak directly with the developer, not with a sales team.
Deliverable: An honest first assessment and a clear recommendation on how to proceed.
Together with your stakeholders we capture requirements, user roles, interfaces and legacy systems. This is where we find out what the project really needs.
Deliverable: A documented list of requirements with priorities and open questions.
Architecture, data model, interfaces, hosting and the milestone plan are put in writing before the first line of production code is written.
Deliverable: A requirements specification (Pflichtenheft) as the basis for decisions and the contract, including a reference architecture on request.
Wireframes and a design system lead to a clickable prototype you test in the browser. Changes are inexpensive in this phase and costly later.
Deliverable: An approved design and a clickable prototype as the basis for development.
We develop in clearly scoped milestones. Each milestone ends with a sign-off on a staging environment, without touching your live systems.
Deliverable: Working interim releases on staging, fully traceable in the Git repository.
Before launch we test features, forms, performance and security. We implement accessibility to WCAG 2.1 AA.
Deliverable: A test report with resolved findings and documented residual risk.
Go-live as planned: redirects, monitoring and a rollback path are prepared before the site goes into production.
Deliverable: The live website together with handover documentation and access credentials.
After launch we can take over maintenance, updates and monitoring, with contractually defined response times.
Deliverable: A maintenance agreement with clear response times and responsibilities.
We respond to RFPs and formal tenders. On request we provide a technical concept and a reference architecture so that your procurement or IT department can assess our approach on its merits before awarding a contract.
The requirements specification (Pflichtenheft) from phase three is deliberately structured to serve as a contractual basis: scope, interfaces, acceptance criteria and milestones are fixed in writing before development begins.
The source code is 100% yours. It lives in a Git repository to which you have full access, including a traceable history of every change. There are no proprietary site builders and no dependency on us: any competent team can take over the project and keep developing it.
No badges, no buzzwords: only commitments we actually keep in day-to-day project work.
Data protection is planned in from the start: data minimisation, clear consent and proper commissioned data processing.
We provide a data processing agreement (German: AVV) on request, tailored to the services in use.
All connections are encrypted over HTTPS, from every form to every interface.
Regular backups of code and content, so that a mistake does not turn into data loss.
We build projects to WCAG 2.1 AA: semantic HTML, keyboard operation, sufficient contrast.
Code handover is part of the process. You can continue with another team at any time.
We specialise in large web and e-commerce projects. For small websites we are happy to recommend colleagues.
If your project is a migration away from WordPress, our page on the WordPress-to-Next.js migration in Vienna shows the process in detail. And to see how a maintenance contract keeps you covered even over the summer, read our SLA checklist for agency contracts.
Free initial consultation: we listen, sketch the process for your project and tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
